Macbeth Masterclass Series – November 2025 Join Oxford-educated tutor and examiner Sophie Welsh for a powerful exploration of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Start with a free 30-minute online masterclass on Tuesday 28 October (6pm UK time) to discover how context unlocks the play’s biggest ideas, from fate and power to loyalty and gender. Students will leave with a clear thematic map they can use straight away in essays and revision. Then continue through four small-group sessions on Tuesdays in November, designed for Year 10–11 students preparing for GCSE or IGCSE English Literature. Each week builds strong analytical skills and a conceptual understanding of Macbeth’s central themes of ambition and power, helping students plan and write exam-ready essays with confidence.
