Whether your child is preparing for GCSE mocks, end-of-year exams, predicted grades, or the actual GCSE exams, these intensive LangLit online sessions will help boost their confidence, skills and exam technique.
Each course is 10 x 50-minute sessions designed to develop the specific skills required for tackling the English Language GCSE exam papers with confidence. The first 5 sessions focus on Paper 1, and the next 5 on Paper 2. Small group work allows each child to give and receive feedback from peers and the tutor, improve peer marking skills (invaluable for proofreading in the exam), enhance discussion skills, and develop their own ideas in a supportive environment.
By the end of the 10 sessions, each child will have had:
Two Language Paper 1 and two Language Paper 2 assessments marked with specific feedback for review
Past paper revision practice
Examiner feedback
Guidance on structuring future exam revision
A small network of like-minded students to collaborate with during revision
With no more than 6 students per group, each child will have opportunities to work individually, in pairs, and in small groups, developing their voice and benefiting from others' insights.
