Well it’s official.  We have had the summer holidays.  I hope you had fun.  Now it is time to get back to work - and as always this is a busy and rewarding term.  Here is a taste of what’s on offer at The LangLit Studio (more details on the website).

1:1 Tuition for IB, A-Level, and GCSE/iGCSE

We offer weekly or biweekly 50-minute sessions tailored to your child's progress, covering a range of English curricula, including IB, A-Level, iGCSE, and GCSE.

Prices vary by exam level.

10% discount available for blocks of 10 sessions when paid in advance.

1:1 Pre-GCSE Tuition

These customized sessions are designed for Year 9 students to build a strong foundation in English—whether Language, Literature, or both.  Each 50-minute lesson equips your child with the tools needed for GCSE success, tailored to their specific exam board.

iGCSE and GCSE Small Group Classes

Preparing for GCSE mocks, end-of-year exams, predicted grades, or the actual GCSE?  These intensive bi-weekly sessions will help boost your child’s grades.

Includes 10 sessions covering 2 language papers and 4 marked exam papers with feedback.

Dates:

• Group 1: 

  • Mondays and Thursdays at 11am (Paper 1 and 2)

  • September 30th - October 28th

• Group 2: 

  • Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm

  • September 30th - October 14th (Paper 1)

  • November 4th - November 18th (Paper 2)

AQA Language Small Group Classes

  • September 30th - October 14th (Paper 1)

Unseen Literature Exam Sessions (Key Stage 4 and 5)

Unseen essay questions can be challenging, but they’re meant to assess your child's knowledge—there's always something they can discuss. Contact us to find out when these sessions are running and which one suits your child's exam needs.
